Designing Microsoft’s “ATLAS” WIKI

I’m designing a WIKI UI and look and feel with the Microsoft ASP.NET group. The WIKI will showcase Microsoft’s new “Atlas” framework.

ASP.NET “Atlas” is a package of new Web development technologies that integrates an extensive set of client script libraries with the rich, server-based development platform of ASP.NET 2.0. That was a mouth full. More simply, its AJAX plus ASP.NET 2.0. Cool combo! Download the ATLAS bits for free.

  1. What ever happened to this project? I saw a sample once that looked quite amazing. Did it get postponed or cancelled?

  2. I only worked on the design for the Microsoft ATLAS (now “AJAX”) WIKI. At the time it was much before the RC version of the AJAX bits. From what I gather the WIKI code worked from the early Beta or even Alpha bits and it hasn’t been updated. Sorry I can’t help more here. It would make a cool Starter Kit if we can convince Microsoft to update it : )
